Kymia is a new contemporary art residence located in the heart of Marrakech, Morocco. The residence will welcome artists and designers from all over the world, offering them space and time to create, explore and draw inspiration from the rich Moroccan culture and traditions.
The name Kymia is derived from the Arabic word "al-kaximiyã", meaning "alchemy".
This name evokes the idea of transformation and creation, which are at the heart of the residence's mission.
Kymia aims to provide artists with an environment conducive to experimentation and innovation, where they can explore new ideas and develop new works of art.
